This unit covers the competencies required to manage an Electrical workshop. Competencies include applying workshop Safety, use of workshop tools, instruments and equipments, preparation of workshop materials, preparation of workshop for Electrical installation practicals, Storage of Electrical tools and materials after practicals, Perform Basic Electrical installation, Perform a quotation for an installation practical in the workshop, demonstrate the use of Electrical machines in the workshop, Identifying and perform various types of wirings, Troubleshoot and repair workshop tools and equipment.
